One Week Away!

Oh man this party is coming up fast. We've been running around like crazy finalizing details, getting donations, and spreading the word. I picked up the tandem yesterday! Why no pictures you wonder? No, not just my usual 'forgot the camera' self, I just can't have you all getting too attached to something I'm planning on winning. Actually Pam but the ixney on us owning another bike, much less a bicycle-built-for-2. Apparently she feels our two bedroom shoebox is crowded enough with the 9 bikes we currently have. I was thinking we could just ditch the love seat and watch TV seated on the tandem. This idea did not go over well.

I also picked up a donation I am especially excited about. A set of Industry Nine single speed wheels have been thrown into the mix by our buddies at Moontime. These are like the Gucci of wheels! Well, that is if Gucci was know for being crazy light / strong and having the best freehub in the biz. You could get on I9's long wait list for a set OR just come bid on these at our auction.

Donations are piling up, I'll be posting photos all this week as we sort through things and put prize packages together. Get ready it's going to be great. In case you missed it, I'll just post the flyer again.

Still no word from Ellen... But I did miss a call from a strange number today. I'm sure she wouldn't want to miss it. There will be plenty of dancing opportunities.
